    You know, they probably will discover some interesting things from this study ... but I can't help but want to make some sort of a joke or pun ...

      Some of the comments on the National Trust Peak District page on Facebook were of that sort ... "can you get Radio 2 on it ?" for example. Well done for resisting the temptation. As you say it is an interesting idea ~ just planting radio transmitters on 1000 ants is mind bloggling enough.
