Ticking away ... Day 756 ~ stocking up ...

Forgive my self indulgence [if that's what it is] ...

I just wanted to say that 'It Stays' [the "gentle roll on body adhesive"] really works. My compression stocking hasn't fallen down since I started using it. I won't be pulling it up every five minutes when I'm walking. [This sounds like an advert doesn't it.]

I never thought it would solve my little problem.

Oh happy day.

    1. No I didn't sniff it Ann though it does have a rather strong smell (though not when it's on fortunately).

  4. Isn't it wonderful to feel a bit of freedom from annoyances. Walk long and tall pilgrim, as John Wayne would have said.

    1. Thank you Ian ... there's nothing worse than having a non-stick stocking.

  8. Thank you for all your comments, as ever.

I experienced a setback on my first real walk with my stocking on 'full-stick' mode. It didn't stick !

I had to take stock of the non-sticking stocking situation. It may be that I stride out using longer strides or it may be that I walk faster ... I don't know what it is but after a hundred yards or so the stocking was hanging around my knee. I pulled it up a few times and felt a bit low ... it was a dark, dull day too.

Today though I have walked around Westfield, the shopping centre in Derby for a couple of hours and it stayed up. I tried to walk a little slower and taking shorter steps, without being stupid about it. The stocking stayed up !

I feel as though I've strained my other leg though by walking in such a way as I don't. I hope that makes sense.
