Chatsworth ~ Beyond Limits ~ 2012/10 ...

This is a bit more like it !

This is Barry Flanagan's Leaping Hare on Crescent and Bell ...

We start off with what appears to be where birds perch overnight.

Beyond Limits ~ 2012 ... exhibit number 10

So, moving on swiftly, the tenth exhibit is positioned by Strid Pond at Chatsworth ...

This sculpture just seems so lively. The hare seems as though it's running around the garden ...

I think the fact I like this is reflected in the number of photos I took and the number of angles I took them from. This sculpture excited me.

At one stage he even jumped right over me ...

Probably one of my favourites, if not the favourite, so far.

  1. Ahhhhh...that's more like it!!! After the disappointing elephant, this is much better!!! Definately amongst my favourites, too. I think I like the angle of the final shot best.

    1. Yes, I like the last one best Mitch ~ the exposure could do with tweaking or a bit of fill-in flash perhaps ?

    2. Fill-in would have been the best thing, but you could tweak the brightness/contrast in software like Photoshop or Picasa

    3. If I had more time I might have done something on Picasa but I tend to think I should have done it at the time Mitch.

  4. Oh yes...much better. I think we're all in agreement about this, the hares should be in motion.
