Glad you enjoyed it Mitch ~ it would be interesting to know exactly where it is. You could be right about calling it the British countryside though I tend to perceive the English countryside in a different way from the Scottish and Welsh countryside. Nothing was intended by me ... though I do think of myself as English and not British !
The above nuances are lost on me, but I get the gist. What a great clip. I hope it gets folk thinking about getting out to explore more in God's wilder parts of creation. Once I got interested in walking the fields and byways of Canada, I found out how much good it did for my mental health and refreshing of my normally cheerful attitude. I just feel happier if I walk about every day. It is easy to do when we travel as there are new places to check out all the time. I find it a little more difficult here at my son's house as the children want to play fairies, or gypsies and do tea-leaf readings, or play dominoes. The days fill up with activities that often but not always include a walk along the river. I am still hoping to see my first cardinal.
You said " I found out how much good it did for my mental health and refreshing of my normally cheerful attitude." and I totally agree with you. It isn't always about what you see [though that helps] but sometimes about what you think and how you clear your head.
AS regards the cardinal I assume you mean the bird ?
Great video Charlie. Reminded me of several places I like to go walking. Although I think it should be re-titled "The British Countryside" :-))

DeleteWe could get into deep water here :-)
