I will let my photographs do the talking with Exhibit No. 4 ~ Large Troubador by Barry Flanagan. This is in the Sensory Garden at Chatsworth ...
Ok, I can't keep quiet any longer.
I like this. The idea of a pensive hare who plays the cello is amusing. It rings my bell ... my harebell perhaps.
It's funny. I almost felt as though I was intruding. It was as though I mustn't disturb the thinker.
I like this one also. Maybe he's trying to decide what to play..?
ReplyDeleteHe's got something on his mind. We're calling the hare 'he' ~ perhaps it's a 'she'.
DeleteI like it too, it's like a new twist on 'The Thinker'. Hare today, gone tomorrow.......
ReplyDeleteYes, I suppose it is another version of 'The Thinker' ...
DeleteYes I also like this one, look forward to seeing the next one.Ann
ReplyDeleteExhibit No. 5 has just been uploaded to Flickr ... though whether it will get up here this evening I'm not sure.
DeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteOh Neil... you misery!
ReplyDeleteI like it too Charlie... can't explain why, but... Yes, definitely a good one
I think this sculpture is touching highheavens ... Neil doesn't presumably. We want people to say what they feel though.
DeleteOh I like this one! He makes me smile - and also makes me want to sit down beside him and have a think along with him. :)
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to sit down for a while and take in some of the scents and sounds etc of the Sensory Garden. The trouble was there was always someone there.
DeleteHere I was thinking that I had had enough of skinny hares. I kept thinking the hare needed a good dinner. Is he thinking of how he can fiddle for his dinner? I like your interpretation better.
ReplyDeleteThere are more hares to come ... and he's probably wondering what it's all about.
DeleteAfter I originally commented I appear to have clicked
ReplyDeletethe -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox
and from now on each time a comment is added I receive 4
emails with the same comment. Is there a means you can remove me
from that service? Thanks a lot!
